Balanced Flow (level 2 | 60 minutes)
This class builds on the postures learned in Mindful Movement and incorporates them into a slow flow, fostering the connection between breath and movement. This class brings balance to the body and mind through a combination of flow sequences that build strength and stamina while improving flexibility and balance. While it is slower than Flowing Strength, it will still challenge and inspire you to deepen your practice.
Yoga Barre Fusion (level 3 | 60 minutes)
Practice a new trend in fitness! After warming up with some yoga, you will experience some of the isometric toning and strengthening exercises used in a Barre class. Yoga Barre Fusion is a fun and challenging workout that fuses the principles and techniques of ballet barre work, Pilates core conditioning, isometric weight training, and yoga which result in longer and leaner muscles. Yoga Body Bootcamp™ (level 3 | 60 minutes)
“Mind blowing, body shifting, life changing…” YOGA BODY BOOTCAMP™ is a revolutionary new yoga-fitness hybrid. Get ready for a combination of Biggest Loser, Amazing Race, and Survivor adrenaline mixed with the inner stillness of yoga. Crazy fun combined with yoga asana, fitness bootcamp stations and a whole new brain chemistry. It's an ever-evolving work-out that will blow your mind AND body. BUTI Fitness (Level 3-4 | 60 minutes)
If yoga and hip-hop had a baby, it would be BUTI! A super fun and energetic fusion of plyometrics, yoga poses, and booty-shaking cardio moves that will blast calories. The increasingly popular BUTI classes mix traditional yoga poses with pulsing and gyrating moves to tone your entire body while raising your heart rate. Candlelight Yoga 4 You (level 1 | 60 minutes)
Conducted in the soothing glow of warm candelight and facing the wall instead of the mirror, your focus turns inward. This class will recharge and restore the body, mind and soul. Combining elements of slow flow vinyasa and deep relaxation in a soothing stress-free environment, this class will leave you feeling a deeper connection to yourself and your body.
Yoga 4 Definition (Level 3-4 | 60 minutes)
The name says it---this class will provide you with that muscle definition you've always wanted and provides a total body workout. It is a vigorous, aerobic style of yoga that combines movement with breath and uses free weights to assist with building strength. It is designed as a challenging and intense workout for both the body and the mind. This class is conducted in a heated 90 degree studio and is a great complement to a regular yoga practice. Some yoga experience is recommended prior to taking this class.
Yoga 4 Flowing Strength (level 3 | 60 minutes)
This fun, challenging , flow-style class combines sequences of poses more quickly, focusing on importance of breath and core strength. (One-breath-one-movement.) You will develop overall stamina, strength, and flexibility while gaining peace of mind. Previous yoga experience is helpful.
Hot Yoga 4 You (level 3 | 60 & 90 minute classes offered)
Hot Yoga consists of a series of yoga poses conducted in 100° - 105° heat. As you can imagine, a vigorous yoga session at this temperature promotes profuse sweating and makes the body very warm, and therefore more flexible. The heat allows the muscles to stretch deeper than they would otherwise with less danger of injury, and detoxifies and cleanses your body. What to wear? Most men prefer to go shirtless and wear shorts; for women, the standard is a tank top or sports bra with shorts or lightweight yoga-style pants. Hot Yoga Tips include: Drink plenty of water prior to and during class; don't eat 2-3 hours prior to class; bring a towel; and, be prepared to come back for more-- it's addicting!
Yoga 4 a Healthy Back (level 1 | 60 minutes)
Up to 85% of American adults experience back pain at some point in their lives. If you are one of them, this class is for you--even if you've never tried yoga. As we age, ligaments and tendons shorten and joint range of motion (ROM) decreases; disks lose their ability to absorb shock, muscles weaken, and bones lose mass. The low back, which bears much of the burden, is particularly prone to problems. A back maintenance exercise program is key to avoiding and helping resolve these issues. Unlike traditional back care exercises, which isolate the parts of the body to be stretched or strengthened, yoga postures are designed to integrate and benefit the whole body. By lengthening connective tissue, expanding ROM and improving posture, yoga can protect against back injury. This class will lengthen and strengthen your back muscles, spine and entire core relieving stressful tightness and spasms.
Inspirational Yoga 4 You (level 2 | 60 minutes)
A gentle class designed to help you relax, de-stress, stretch and build strength. All classes begin with a themed devotional reading to focus on throughout class and include fun and inspirational music to guide and encourage you. It’s a gentle yet effective workout that will bring peace to body, mind and soul. This class is perfect for those just beginning to practice or for those days when you are tired and prefer a less challenging class but still want to break a sweat and get in your self-care. more info>>
Yoga 4 Mindful Movement (level 1 | 60 minutes)
This class is a great way to become familiar with the poses commonly used in yoga. It focuses on poses to stretch and strengthen all major muscle groups while opening the body to increasing challenges. It incorporate more strength building postures than the Gentle Yoga class, but is still appropriate for beginners. Emphasis is given to basic alignment of the poses.
Yoga 4 Relaxation & Renewal (level 1 | 75 minutes)
Relieve fatigue and stress while encouraging your own well-being with this therapeutic style of yoga. Blankets, blocks, pillows and other props are used to fully support your body in gentle stretching postures. These restorative poses offer benefits to both the body and mind for conditions including: insomnia, asthma, chronic pain, migraines, and depression. It is a soothing and nurturing practice that promotes complete relaxation. Blankets and pillow are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Restorative Flow 4 You (level 1 | 60 minutes)
Need to decompress from your week? Stop in for some deep stretching and slow vinyasa flow to work out the kinks from the week. Followed by restorative poses to relax the body and mind. Come in to your weekend relaxed and refreshed!
Yoga 4 Sizzling Strength (level 3-4 | 60 minutes)
Turn up the heat on your practice! This class allows you to enjoy all the benefits of a Flowing Strength class as well as the benefits of practicing in a heated studio. Heat increases your muscle elasticity, improves your body's ability to burn fat, and promotes detoxification. Classes are conducted at 95 degrees. Perfect for you if you love the movement in a typical vinyasa flow class--but also want the benefits offered by heat.
XY Interval Training (Level 3-4 | 45 minutes)
XY Interval training is the only high-intensity interval training program that fuses strength training and performance drills with targeted, strategic yoga postures to increase flexibility and prevent injury. It is the fastest total-body workout on the market.
Relaxed Yin Flow (level 1 | 60 minutes)
This class has a gentle pace in which the deep Yin Yoga stretches are alternated with strengthening, revitalizing and more active yoga poses. Enjoy the benefits of the strength building yang yoga and allow your body to melt into more passively held stretches that typify yin yoga. You will gain strength, flexibility and self-awareness as you learn to use your breath to flow and to release. All levels class.
