If you are a beginner, we offer a few options for you. Some of the beginning level classes, such as Yoga 4 Mindful Movement or Yoga 4 Relaxation and Renewal are great starter classes. If you'd like a little more direction and exposure to various types of yoga, you may want to try one of our Beginner's Workshops.
Beginner's Workshops are available to new customers only. Due to their popularity early registration is recommended. By the end of each workshop, students will have a working knowledge of many fundamental yoga postures and will feel confident attending Yoga 4 Mindful Movement or another of the yoga classes offered at our studio. Rental mats are provided at no cost for the Beginner's Workshops, or bring your own mat if you wish. Dress for movement in comfortable, close-fitting clothing. Loose clothing (especially tops) are not recommended.

3-Session Yoga 4 BEGINNER'S Workshop
A perfect (and cost-effective) way to learn more about the basics of yoga! The 3-part series is offered every month. This workshop is geared toward the absolute beginner. In a relaxed, supportive environment, students will learn basic yoga postures and breathing practices with a focus on safe alignment rather than a “perfect looking posture." Questions are strongly encouraged, and classes are kept small enough so that each student can count on one-on-one contact with the instructor throughout the class.
