AngelaSince 2000 as an avid athlete, running 11 marathons, countless half-marathons and various other races found yoga as an excellent form of cross-training and peaceful outlet to her rigorous training and busy life. After a traumatic car accident, she found yoga the only accessible form of exercise to heal the body and calm the spirit.

         Angela Doerfler

Her passion for others to experience inner peace and physical fitness prompted an intense
immersion into yoga and in 2009 became fully trained in Vinyasa, Hot Yoga and Fusion and certified RYT-200 through the internationally recognized organization Yoga Alliance. She provides new yogis a safe, non-intimidating environment offering many optional modifications as they begin their yoga journey and for those with a consistent practice an opportunity to challenge their bodies in each asana expression. Angela is thrilled to belong to the Yoga 4 You community and looks forward to meeting you on the mat.

DebbieDebbie found herself in her first yoga class in early 2010 after quitting a stressful job and struggling with back pain and depression. While experiencing the benefits of healing her back pain, it has also been a great help for her depression and anxiety by learning to discipline her mind and live in the moment.
               Debbie Rose

After seeing how yoga was transforming her life both emotionally and physically she intensely immersed herself into her practice. Because of Debbie's passion for yoga she completed teacher training and is a RYT-200 certified instructor through Yoga Alliance. Her desire is to create a safe, warm and encouraging atmosphere for anyone to practice yoga. Debbie is excited to be an instructor at Yoga 4 You and to be a part of the great Yoga 4 You community that introduced her to yoga.

Gerri has been practicing Yoga for several years and has been an instructor for three years. She completed YogaFit Level I certification and is trained in Kids and Senior yoga. She continues to work on her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification through YogaFit.

Gerri    Gerri Northern

Gerri’s focus is a Fitness and Gentle Yoga practice. She has Specialty Certification for Seniors and enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga with them. The improved circulation, decreased blood pressure, increased flexibility, improved posture, joint lubrication and extended movement benefits have been evident in her yoga clients. She is very excited to be a part of Yoga 4 You!

Jenn & her daughterYoga found Jenn in March of 2003. It began as a way to restore flexibility and get in shape, but after experiencing a wave of emotion while in half pigeon pose, she realized there was much more to “this yoga thing” than simply exercising. The physical benefits she sought were realized quickly, which motivated her to attend more classes. As her practice evolved, the mental and emotional benefits of yoga followed. It became apparent that the work on the mat was applicable off the mat as well, in every aspect of our lives. As this realization became clear, so did her desire to bring the experience to others and she decided to become a certified yoga instructor.

                                 Jenn Holm

Jenn is very grateful for the support she has received from her family and friends during this amazing journey of growth and self-discovery – a journey that will continue throughout her life.

Julie made a drastic life change in early 2009 when she left a full-time job to pursue her real interest – serving others in the health and wellness realm. She then completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training Program with CorePower Yoga in Minneapolis.

             Julie Zoril

JulieJulie’s yoga style focuses on mixing basic and intermediate poses in a flowing Vinyasa style. She really enjoys introducing yoga to beginners, especially those who think they could never do yoga, creating a welcoming atmosphere of fun in each class. Yoga has been instrumental in teaching Julie to slow down and enjoy the present moment while bringing the fitness benefits of a stronger body and a better metabolism. Her wish is to guide students to love and benefit from yoga as much as she does.

Kathy
Retiring her running shoes after a knee injury, Kathy found Vinyasa style yoga as a way to build strength and gain flexibility while receiving a cardio workout. She found that connecting the mind with the breath and the breath with movement was a transforming experience.

                                        Kathy Clark

The benefits of meditation through movement bring Kathy back to her mat time after time. And with the desire to share her experience with others, she completed teacher training at CorePower. Kathy is a RYT-200 certified through Yoga Alliance.

Kathy is thrilled to be an instructor at Yoga 4 You, and to be a part of the wonderful Yoga 4 You community.

Kelly stepped onto a freshly unwrapped generic yoga mat in 2007 wanting to lose weight and help decrease her daily stress. She didn’t mind that she couldn’t touch her toes. (Okay, yes she did.)Kelly She took to the practice immediately, loving the effects on her body and the challenges each class brought. Each day Kelly comes to her mat with intention, and leaves with the goal of bringing yoga into the world through mindful thoughts, words, and actions.

           Kelly Flanigan

Kelly received her 200 hour RYT certification because of a desire to deepen her practice and share her love of yoga with those around her. She is honored to be a teacher with Yoga 4 You. Her teaching style is friendly and lighthearted; her goal is to make yoga accessible to as many people as possible, believing that everyone can (and should!) practice yoga.
(And she loves being able to touch her toes, by the way. In fact, she’s doing it right now.)

KellyKelly began her yoga journey in 2008. She was introduced to yoga at work and began practicing intermittently. When she practiced, she felt a powerful combination of physical strength and emotional calm she had not experienced before. In order to share these benefits with others, she partnered with Jenn Holm and Wendy Waibel to open Yoga 4 You. Kelly, having never been particularly athletic or graceful, never planned to teach classes. However, after seeing the amazing effects yoga has had on Yoga 4 You customers, she felt a desire to be more directly involved in sharing this practice.

                                  Kelly Larson

Kelly received her yoga training at Yahweh Yoga – a nationally recognized and acclaimed Christian yoga training facility in Phoenix, AZ. She teaches both secular and Christian yoga classes. Her practice has had a profound affect on her life and has helped her find joy in every single day. She is excited to share the life changing effects of yoga in her secular classes and the powerful combination of worship and movement in her Christian yoga classes. She truly believes yoga can help people of all ages, sizes and shapes lead a healthier, happier and more peaceful life.

Meggie Odenbach
Meggie first experienced yoga while in college with yoga DVDs and practicing in her living room. After college she was looking for something active to do and found herself in a Hot Yoga class and was instantly in love. She loved the combination of getting a great workout and feeling relaxed and rejuvenated afterward. Meggie started to go to classes regularly and noticed not just physical changes, but spiritual as well.

          Meggie Odenbach

In 2011 Meggie completed the 200 RYT Hot Yoga/Hot Power Fusion Teacher Training program through CorePower Yoga. She is excited to be apart of the Yoga 4 You community.

Callie Knoblauch:
Always having had a passion for health and wellness and a desire to teach and guide others, Callie went through Corepower Teacher Training in the fall of 2008. She feels so blessed to share her love and passion for yoga with others through teaching. Callie lives in St. Louis Park with the love of her life, three wonderful daughters, and a lovely stepdaughter. She has been a manager for Patina stores for 13 years. Outside of yoga, her joys are running, cycling, and most outdoor adventures.

Chrissy Mittelstadt: Chrissy is an ERYT 200 --which means she has been teaching for more than two years and has over 1000 hours of teaching experience. She has a diverse background in many different yoga styles and has a way of making classes both educational and fun. She has a passion for Yoga Fusion which is a combination of traditional yoga asana and other movement disciplines. We were excited to have Chrissy teach the Yoga with the Beatles workshop in May 2011 and we look forward to having her teach additional workshops in the future.

Jenny Frost: Jenny has a very active lifestyle. In addition to yoga, she runs marathons and coaches gymnastics. She has practiced yoga for 6 years. She began with Hot Yoga and has since expanded to all areas. Jenny is training in Hot, Hot Fusion, and Vinyasa.

Ken Schweiger: Ken took his first yoga class on January 10, 2006 and has been hooked ever since. Ken completed his training with CorePower in 2009 and became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Ken is an avid low handicap golfer who competed and placed in the top 20 in a Minnesota State Amateur golf event and realized how important yoga is to maintaining a person’s flexibility and balance. Many postures are dedicated to keeping your spine healthy and flexible. So often he has heard, "If I only started yoga earlier." There is no time like the present to begin your practice! He looks forward to seeing you in one of his classes! As a wise Yogi once said, "You are never too old and it's never too late to start doing your yoga."

Kristine Rosa: Rosa began yoga in 2009 when she became pregnant. She started because of chronic back pain and didn't know how she would survive 9 months of pregnancy. Immediately after starting her practice she noticed the physical benefits. After giving birth she quickly restarted her practice 5 days a week going into a Vinyasa flow practice and was surprised at how challenging it was and learned it was so much more than stretching. Rosa has immersed herself in everything yoga since then and has even created an online yoga video website for mothers that consists of a variety of practice options including prenatal, strength workouts, and meditation. Her training has been life changing on many levels. She enjoys continuing to learn and enjoys sharing as much of it as she can with her students.

Lola Panschar: Lola completed Vinyasa teacher training in 2005 and hot yoga training in 2010. She practices transcendental meditation where the philosophy is that the purpose of creation is the expansion of happiness. She is a ‘hottie’ and practices Bikram yoga 3-7 times a week where the philosophy is that we underestimate ourselves! Lola began as a student of her grandmother in the Latvian church basement. She's also studying Iyengar yoga; practicing stillness of body and firmness of mind with a benevolent spirit.

Naomi Baer: Naomi is an experienced hot teacher who will be subbing our hot classes periodically. She enjoys practicing both hot and vinyasa yoga. In addition to teaching numerous classes every week, Naomi practices at least 5 times a week. She has become a happier person since beginning her yoga journey. She truly feels that her yoga has been influenced by every single person she has come in contact with by teaching her subtle, yet always important, lessons about life.
