Blankets, blocks, pillows and other props are used to fully support your body in gentle stretching postures. These restorative poses offer benefits to both the body and mind for conditions including: insomnia, asthma, chronic pain, migraines, and depression. It is a soothing and nurturing practice that promotes complete relaxation. Blankets and pillow are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Up to 85% of American adults experience back pain at some point in their lives. If you are one of them, this class is for you--even if you've never tried yoga. As we age, ligaments and tendons shorten and joint range of motion (ROM) decreases; disks lose their ability to absorb shock, muscles weaken, and bones lose mass. The low back, which bears much of the burden, is particularly prone to problems. A back maintenance exercise program is key to avoiding and helping resolve these issues. Unlike traditional back care exercises, which isolate the parts of the body to be stretched or strengthened, yoga postures are designed to integrate and benefit the whole body . By lengthening connective tissue, expanding ROM and improving posture, yoga can protect against back injury. This class will lengthen and strengthen your back muscles, spine and entire core relieving stressful tightness and spasms.

Deep Stretching
 
4 You

Suitable for most levels of students, this mellow deep stretching class (also known as Yin Yoga) is a perfect complement to Vinyasa and Hot yoga. While most yoga classes emphasize the lengthening and strengthening of our muscles, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the body, which stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas of the body creating even greater flexibility and range of motion. Primary areas targeted include the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Poses are generally held for 3-10 minutes. Although yin yoga is not as intense as other forms of yoga, its long duration can be difficult to maintain. This class is great for athletes or people desiring a deeper stretch to increase their general flexibility.

This beginner level class is a great way to become familiar with the poses commonly used in yoga. It focuses on poses to stretch and strengthen all major muscle groups while opening the body to increasing challenges. Emphasis is given to basic alignment of the poses.

Zumba© is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness routine with infectious music and easy to follow dance moves that will tone and strengthen the body. Each energizing workout burns 400-1000 calories and is suitable for men and women of all ages and shapes. Most fitness levels will enjoy this medium-impact class. It's a fun cardio complement to your yoga practice. Please wear indoor gym shoes with non-marking soles.

Christian Yoga 4 You

A gentle class designed to help you relax, de-stress, stretch and build strength. All classes begin with a themed devotional reading to focus on throughout class and include fun and inspirational music to guide and encourage you. It’s a gentle yet effective workout that will bring peace to body, mind and soul. This class is perfect for those just beginning to practice or for those days when you are tired and prefer a less challenging class but still want to break a sweat and get in your self-care.

Hot Yoga 4 You

Hot Yoga 4 You consists of a series of yoga poses conducted in 100° - 105° heat. As you can imagine, a vigorous yoga session at this temperature promotes profuse sweating and makes the body very warm, and therefore more flexible. The heat allows the muscles to stretch deeper than they would otherwise with less danger of injury, and detoxifies and cleanses your body. What to wear? Most men prefer to go shirtless and wear shorts; for women, the standard is a tank top or sports bra with shorts or lightweight yoga-style pants. Hot Yoga Tips : Drink plenty of water prior to and during class; don't eat 2-3 hours prior to class; bring a towel; and, be prepared to come back for more-- it's addicting !

Sizzling Strength

Turn up the heat on your practice! This class allows you to enjoy all the benefits of a Flowing Strength class as well as the benefits of practicing in a heated studio. Heat increases your muscle elasticity, improves your body's ability to burn fat, and promotes detoxification . Classes are conducted at 95 degrees. Perfect for you if you love the movement in a typical vinyasa flow class--but also want the benefits offered by heat. All levels welcome but some yoga experience is helpful.
